The shockproof housing is made of metal and plastic, is dust and moisture resistant, which allows it to be used in extreme conditions.
The five-lens eyepiece provides an approximation of approximately x3.5x.
With little natural light (the moon, the light in the windows of houses, the light from the headlights of passing cars), the device gives up toa sufficiently high-quality picture without turning on the IR illuminator.
The operation of the device with the IR illuminators turned off allows you to remain invisible.
The need to turn on the IR illuminator only arises when using the device in complete darkness.
However, the inclusion of an IR illuminator can unmask the observer, especially in cases where the enemy also uses night vision devices.
Partially masks the glow of the illuminator with a soft rubber eyecup, which does not allow detecting the operation of the IR emitter from the side.

ATTENTION, it is allowed to turn on the device in daylight only with the lid closed, otherwise the light-receiving matrix may fail.
For prIn order to verify the device (test mode), it is allowed to turn it on with the lens cap on, in which there is a small hole that allows you to check the device's performance in the daytime.
The image in the test mode has noise, in the form of many dots on the image, which are not present when working in night mode with the lid open.
